I have a lot of buttons, but not many of them match, so I have to come up with other ideas for them.
These are buttons glued on tie tack pins. Very easy to make, but you need the right buttons. Many buttons aren’t totally flat, so I have to search through my button stash to find flat ones or ones that are curved and fit nicely in the curve of another button. I usually use sew-through buttons, but if I find a button I like that has a shank I’ll snip it off with pliers and file it flat. The orange button on the dark fabric had a shank. After I filed it down it fit perfectly into the big yellow button. Ciao!
